Purpose and Reason:
The purpose of Rule 2005 is to set the methodology to be used to determine the value of motor vehicles using information concerning the make, model, type and year of manufacture to be used in the levy of the excise taxes of December 31, 2005 as assessed by each city and town in Rhode Island.
